Rochester, New York Forums Both Online and In Person Discussing Community Planning and Entertainment Events in the City

Forum rochester

The city of Rochester NY is renowned by many of its residents and visitors alike. Though it may not have the size of some of its New York State peers such as Buffalo and New York city, Rochester is still credited for having plenty to do year round. In fact, many people enjoy the medium size of Rochester NY because it provides the potential to create more of a sense of a close knit community. To discuss the possibilities and planning of community events or entertainment events, there are many Rochester NY forums held both online and at in person meetings.

One of the popular in person forums that takes place in Rochester is the Foreign Film Fans Forum. Contributors to this forum will go see foreign films together, either at the Little Theater or when they are shown at the Dryden Theater at the historic George Eastman house. Following the film, the forum contributors will then meet up, usually at Spot Coffee down the street from both theaters on East Avenue, to discuss the film together.

Another forum that is taking place via both regular online and in person is called The Snowball Effect. This group focuses on creating community building events with the objective of making Rochester NY an even better place to live. The Snowball Effect uses social media for many online forum discussions to generate ideas and then holds weekly in person meetings at various locations to discuss more concrete planning.
